During my senior year in college two Christians told me how easy it was to be saved and saved I wanted to be. I called on the name of the Lord and asked him to be real to me, to be my personal Lord and Savior, and to live in my heart. Days later I was baptized.
After being saved He became real to me in a way I never knew before, and there was a difference in me that I couldn’t explain. Now I was someone who had a reason for existing, and all my sins were forgiven. Because of this, there were certain things in my life I no longer cared for. All I seemed to care for was to love Christ, to gain Christ, to share Christ. Also I cared for the Bible, the Lord’s table meeting (I Corinthians 10:21), the prayer meetings, the church meetings and the spreading of the gospel. I also enjoyed reading the writings of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee.
Now, some twenty years later I’m still for Christ and endeavoring to build up the church while awaiting His return.
